Balanced scoring has been the theme for the Indians over the past few games. This contest was no different. The Indians were led by Tyler Fruth with 13 points on 6 for 8 shooting. Three Indians ended with double figures as the Tribe held on to get the victory.
"We passed the ball well tonight and got some easy baskets," said Coach Griesser. "It was nice to see the kids working to create something for their team mates."
Omar Prewitt had 11 points on a tough shooting night. Andrew Mullins pitched in 10 points and 8 rebounds in one of his best performances of the season. Azrey Crisp had 9 points and 9 rebounds. Seth Dotson also added 6 points.
This was a good win on the road for the Indians as the Polar Bears are having one of their best seasons in quite a while. "Dylan Hamilton is one of the best scorers in the region and even though he ended up with 23 points, we did a pretty good job on him," said Griesser.
The Indians will next take on Henry Clay. The game is scheduled for Tuesday night in the MCHS Arena. JV at 6:00, Varsity at 7:30
